Activities For Children

Junior Church

Junior Church takes place on the third , fourth  and fifth Sunday morning of the month . The children come into church with their family and participate in the children’s address. After the second hymn they go to the Fellowship Room with at least 2 of the Junior Church Leaders, for a Bible story with activities to suit their age group.  The Junior Church Leaders follow the Scripture Union Books “Bubbles” and “Splash!”, which feature Old and New Testaments and are full of good ideas to bring the stories to life, by using craft, games, quizzes etc to help the children to relate it to their own experience.

There is generally a break during the summer holiday, restarting the first Sunday in September.

Messy Church

Messy Church takes place on the 2nd Sunday of each month, with the exception of August.

The session is 3 – 5pm and we meet in the ‘Westminster Hall’.

Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults at all stages of their faith journey.

Each session has a Biblical theme which is explored through

craft activities, games, puppets, story, prayer, song and ends with a sit-down meal together.
